Once again, Dr. Sowell is the voice of reason. All those people screaming about the incident before anyone knows what actually happened. When Al Sharpton appears on the front line you know the race baiting has begun. You would think that after the Tawana Brawley incident Sharpton would be more cautions. But facts mean nothing to the "race hustlers" when there is a good riot to start.

Re-Elect Obama: Vote Newt!

To understand Newt the historian it is important to understand Newt's own history. Ann has done a great job in that. The only elections Newt has ever won is from a small Republican district in Georgia. The question for us all is "do you just want to trade in one eloquent, ego maniac (Obama) for another eloquent, ego maniac (Newt).

Kodak and the Post Office

The major issue with the USPS is not mail delivery, but mail pickup. If FedEx or UPS ran their business by going by every address six days a week just to check a see if someone might have something to pick up, they would probably get out of the business. But their are people who don't have computers that are dependent on the USPS to communicate with the outside world. It is a "service" and not a business.

Ron Paul's Naive Promises

When are people going to wake up to the fact that Ron Paul could not win the presidency, even if he were running unopposed! If people think that our problems can be solved by this election are delusional. We need to set this country on the right path with workable programs and possibly 3 or 4 good elections from now the problems might be fixed. This is not a sprint but a marathon.
Ron Paul could not win the Presidency even if he were running unopposed.

The only requirement for someone to serve as President is to be an American Citizen over a certain age, Isn't is strange that Obama can't be made to produce the only document that would determine that he meets those requirements.

The sad part of McChrystal's departure is that all of the people he and his staff were deriding are still there, unknowing, ill prepared and incompetent.

Moses, you shouldn't malign Billy Mays. At least he was an honest pitchman for products that were actually purchased by people. Obama will say anything to anyone about everything. Words have no meaning to Obama.
