In response to:

Top Intelligence Office: Blame Us, Not White House, for Libya Flap

This Gen. James ClapperTrap needs to be stripped of any and all rank and fired, rather than retired for having embarrassed the Executive Branch with such shoddyass work. The man is a friggin embarrassment to the uniform of the United States Air Force and should be removed from office in total disgrace. In fact he is an embarrassment to even be called an American. He should be stripped of rank, retirement, then deported to some other nation willing to accept such criminals. ClapperTrap you POS, your actions , or lack of I should say, cost at least four good men their lives.....If you had even an ounce of honor you would strip yourself of all rank and fire yourself.

I wonder if Clapper was informed that if he did not take the blame, he'd be retired dishonorably and lose his pension.

Who was the military guy who was head of NSA and resigned in disgust during Obama's first year?
Both he and his wife had some choice comments about working for the thugs from Chicago.

Sage, Lt Gen Clapper has been retired for about 15 years. He is a civilian government employee, though it is traditional for people like that to still be called by their military rank. He is, and has been an honorable man. The politics of situations like this are disgusting and I have no doubt the NSC pushed him to make this statement.

Lance, an "honorable man" as you claim him to be cannot be "pushed" to be involved in such a cover up.

And, do you doubt for even a minute Gen. ClapperTrap did not use said RANK to land this job at the NSC? If he did, then the rank is still on the line, even if it has been 15 years.

If the man is so honorable, he should do the truly honorable thing and eat a bullet.

Yeah, maybe Zero and Putin have made some sort of an arrangement.

The attacks on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi have provided no small headache for the Obama administration, but top intelligence officials appears to be stepping in to take the fall for the messaging debacle. In the days after the attacks, President Obama and others speaking on the issue blamed a YouTube video for the violence; it has since come to light that that was not the case.

But don't blame the White House, says the Office of the Director of National Intelligence -- it has claimed responsibility for the faulty explanation:
