For Matthews serves to support exactly what I have long been saying about the Craphead "segregationist". To nation destroying libturds like Matthews, there is no such thing as just a plain old nation loving genuine American. To a segregationist like Matthews every person born in this nation is assigned a hyphen to designate exactly what percentage-American they are.
IOW: All Americans are hyphenated-Americans of one sort or another in a Crapheads eyes.
The Left sees no colors, only (beautiful) black...and white.
If you are an African-American, you're not an American.
If you're an Irish-American, you're not an American.
If you're an Asian American, German-American, Italian-American, Native American, Arab-American, Jewish-American, Hispanic American, etc., ad nauseum, you're not an American.
To be an American is to place yourself primarily as a member of our group, not to separate yourself with other designations or labels.
I'm an American, period.
I just happen to have northern European ancestors. Haven't discovered any native americans or other racial/ethnic groups in my genealogy yet. But even if I do, I'm still just an American.
