Please allow me to digress for a moment: What am I doing wrong? Is it my computer? Every time I attempt to click on one of the dropdowns to expand the responses, it takes me all the way back to the top of the article and refuses to drop down?

Thanks Geek, I tried what you suggested, downloaded FireFox and it is back to working the way it used it. But, still if I open it with MC Internet Explorer it is still not working.

Only problem I have now....It has changed my screen name back to Caprock.... I'm really not sure how that happened? I really don't care, and suppose I could change it back to Sage Advice if I wanted.

If the article hasn't finished downloading, that can happen. Check to see if it has finished.

I'm having the same problem, though it has been intermittent. Refreshing the page didn't help.

Sage,

I have the same problem. What is puzzling is it only happens on some of the commentators articles. That tells me it’s not your computer or the Internet access application. ANY THOUGHTS?

Bad Guy I found the same thing happening, but since I have swapped over to FireFox like Geek suggested, it seems to be working fine. Only I notice, it changed my Screen Name back to one I haven't used for a while. Caprock. :-)

Thanks guys, but I have rebooted the computer and restarted Townhall twice in an attempt to determine if this is my problem or something happening on TH?

I haven't done the FireFox download to this computer. The wifeymate has on hers so I may move over and try her computer to see if it is working on hers. I hate computer problems! And, I used to be an engineer. :-)

It's Obama's fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hit refresh for the page and try it. I think there is a flaw in TH's programs. The note from RG is not correct about Firefox. It happens on both browsers. But, rebooting works.

I have Firefox on one computer and MS Internet Explorer on my other computer - one monitor, one mouse.

I have several problems with MS Internet explorer and none with Firefox.

Both Computers are 64bit and have 16 Gigabytes of ram and 1 terabyte hard drives.

MS Internet Explorer has huge memory leaks and eats up RAM.

I have used both computers equally at Town Hall on a test for a Day.

The MS Internet Explorer machine used 28% of RAM, the FireFox machine used 12% of RAM.

Don't know for sure but I would guess you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer and/or haven't booted your computer lately.

Upgrade to FireFox (it's free) add the AD blocker plugin.

I had the same problem yesterday and had mouse problems also--Reboot fixed it

Thanks to goodness we have Obama to provide us with the many teachable moments in his personal journey of discovery as president of the United States.

The country may not be better off, but at least Obama is growing as a person.

And why wouldn’t he?

He’s personally taken out the world’s largest student loan to cover the four year period of instruction. His $5 trillion in student loan debt disguised as a deficit may not seem economical, but when were student loans ever supposed to have anything to do with economics? They are just resources meant...
