CPAC Unwise to Snub Christie, Gays

This is a silly, juvenile temper tantrum,by an organization (CPAC) that needs to confront the Christie and Bush wing of the party, not exclude it.CPAC hasn't had an inspiring moment since Rush Limbaugh delivered the keynote in 2009. CPAC needs to decide if their goal is to contribute to a conservative party that can win national elections,or just gratuitously preach to the choir.

It is not 'free money' from the federal government. It is getting back the taxes paid by the citizens in their states. The correct argument against states setting up the exchanges, does not work for the Medicaid expansion issue. The financial metrics of different states vary a great deal, which is exactly the argument against federal intereference in state matters and the crowding out,by the federal government,of the states tax bases.Even though we know all the money is phoney counterfiet, some Governors cannot tell their citizens that they refused funds that will go to surrounding states without surrendering their states to democrats for years to come.
