Kaboom: Romney Leads Obama by 3 in New CBS/NYT Poll

One of the things that is so annoying about Townhall is their penchant for misleading their readers. Take this article for example, it portrays a vision of a tight race, with Romney leading Obama, on his way to a good chance at winning in the fall. The objective reality is much, much different. Obama is dominating the electoral college, leading in every state he needs to win and tied in many he doesn't. Romney's path to victory is going to be difficult, if not impossible, to achieve. He will have to win every single swing state to win the election, and well, that's just not very likely. Shouldn't conservatives (and TownHall) be informed on what's really going on?

10 years from now, even Obungler supporters will have forgotten hope & change like most Carter supporters now deny they once supported him.

The article taken in context shows a national mood swing that may very well disintegrate any lead O What A Mess has. As campaign ads hit the airwaves and people begin to see and undertsand O's failures this is likely to add up quickly.

Informed we are. Romney doesn't have to win all the swing states to win, just the majority as rural America ( you know those who cling to God and guns) deliver the others.

It will be a fight, but the prevailing winds are shifting.

All the usual May polling caveats apply, obviously -- but my oh my, there are some eye-opening numbers in the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.  The topline number shows Romney leading The One 46-43 among registered voters (a very low number for an incumbent), but the internals hold even better morsels:

A few notes:

(1) Romney leads among women by two points.  This is a dramatic turnaround from even a few weeks ago, when the Left was singing the dopey "war on...
