Does anybody know if the costs of obamacare are already increasing the debt? These exchanges being set up by states are being funded by who? the state or the federal govt? Can't the republicans push to stop that line of spending? I remember defunding Obamacare during the elections was an issue to stop it. Has this been tried?

They are initially to be funded by the federal grubrmnt, then the states will take over the funding responsibilities. That is why a number of states are saying they will not implement them in the first place. It was one of the tricks the democrats used to make the long term costs of Øcare appear lower than they will actually be.
