Where Will You Go if America Collapses?

The population of Europe exceeds that of Russia. They could get, or manufacture , weapons and warplanes.

Oh,Russia also has lots of long-range naval Bear bombers for anti-shipping.
they planned LONG AGO to cut off Europe in any war.

the Backfires,Blackjacks, and Bears are all still maintained and ready for war. Russia has been practicing with them. they still send them over near Alaska and along the US East Coast, intercepted by US F-15s or F-16s.(and Canadian CF-18s)

today's SAMs are just too good, fighters and bombers don't last very long. Russia has long-range Naval Backfire supersonic bombers they would use to cut off shipping from other nations (read Red Storm Rising). So no resupply, even if other nations HAD the planes, armor, and munitions to ship to Europe.

Remember the US has fallen, nothing is coming from the US.
So where else is Europe going to get modern weapons systems in numbers enough to turn back the Russkis? The Scandinavians are very close to Russia, would be under their coverage if not taken already.

you sure don't know much ,rwright.

Rwright, you're dumb;modern warplanes and weapons systems take many YEARS,even decades to field in sufficient numbers, even for the US that has much larger resources and money. France barely has one carrier, the 2nd is many years away. they CUT DOWN their order of Rafales.(just like the US cut back on F-22's.)
Fighters get used up FAST in a real war,and take too long to replace(all major weapons do,actually.),unlike WW2 where the US had massive production capabilities.

A reader from New York has a follow-up question for me.

Referencing a “Question of the Week” from last month, in which I expressed guarded optimism that America could be saved, she wants to know what I would do if things go the wrong way.

In other words, what if things go really wrong and America suffers a Greek-style fiscal collapse? And imagine how bad that might be since there wouldn’t be an IMF or European Central Bank capable of providing bailouts to the United States.

Perhaps because of an irrational form of patriotism, I’m fairly certain that I...
