i think you are all missing the point--look at israel. ALL young people there do their time in the military. seems like it works well there. besides, we have a huge number of young, dumb valley girls this just might help straighten them out!

believe me-there are ways to get your money out of the contry.

the biggest thing to think of is: when, because of really bad taxation, the wealthy pack up and leave the country, they usually take their comapnies, jobs, and money with them. at the present time, the top 20% pay over 70% of all taxes. pretty stupid to create this kind of deal, huh???

several things here. the federal road tax is higher on diesel. true, no new refineries have been built; big oil has shut down several with the stated purpose of cutting gas supplies, thereby raising the price. i owned a ('84?) ford escort wagon diesel. when we moved to california in '85, averaged 57 mpg for the trip. i used to schedule mtce. when mpg dropped to 45! why did they stop offering cars like this? EPA

we were dryland farmers in eastern Colorado, and began our changeover to propane in 1953. many people in our area had changed over completely when i left in 1964. propane for homes, cars, trucks, tractors and other equipment.

i am really worried. every instance of electronic vote problems, every one has defaulted to obama, not one to romney. a nd the election judges are sloughing it off. houston-NAACP takes over a polling place woman complains, poll judges say it's ok, cops will not respond. just what is going on????

I have been saying this for years. I send emails to my congressmen at least once a week (each). And it makes no difference if they are a dem or a GOP; once they get to DC you cannot tell them apart!?!? I will continue, you do the same, hopefully we can get others to join us!!!

you make a valid point, BUT--the way our system is, the only viable presidential candidates are O and romney. guaranteed! no matter what, over 95% of all votes cast will be for those 2 guys , and one or the other will be sworn in jan 20, 2013. get over it! if you waste your vote by voting for one of these others, you deserve to get O for another 4 years. this is known as vote splitting. i learned it at boy's state in 1963!!!

i do not remember when they made the change to 'unemployment rate', but ALL polititions use it. we need to get REAL unemployment numbers. i am positive that as soon as the new, 'adjusted' numbers come out, the unemployment rate' will still be 8.1, that 7.8 was just a political ploy to try to make O look good.
