The "cult of personality" is alive and well in the USA. What used to be the exclusive purview of communist "paradises" such as North Korea and the USSR is now mainstream here in the USA. Our so-called "mainstream media" is so smitten with the o'bama and the first wookie that they all feel "tingles up their legs when thinking about their "dear leader".

For everyone here, if you haven't heard the 80s hit "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour, go find it on YouTube. When I first heard the song a few years ago, Obama came to mind immediately. Here's the verse that says it all:
