You fail to recognize that the NYT, CBS and many other polls typically lean liberal. Also, in 1980, this was the scene: Spring 1980. Gallup has Carter ahead of Reagan by 43 to 35 percent. On September 21, 1980, the New York Times headlines: "New Poll Shows Carter Leading Reagan." The poll shows Carter leading by 42-34 percent.

It's that time of year again when hunters pull out their gear, clean up their guns, sharpen their arrows and get to work. This year is extra special for GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan. Why? His daughter is 10-years-old now and can go hunting.
