That the United Nations may have been "protecting" the Iraqi yellow-cake depository, leaves me with no sense of confidence that the world would have been safe from Saddam! The degradation of yellow-cake is also supposed to be at issue. I cannot professionally speak on that issue. I can speculate that under any condition, yellow-cake is dangerous until it degrades for decades, not merely years. And 3,500 barrels of the stuff could have provided Saddam with enough dangerous material for even one bomb. That alone made that crackpot a threat to any & all. That the leftist media keeps repeating what has been shown as untrue, shames them. Hence the losing market share of those media outfits. The tactic of repeating a lie, has been used by the...

The objections raised only prove that many on the left who are supporting & encouraging the latest efforts to impose socialism on us, have absolutely no idea what they are supporting. They obviously have no clear, logical, intelligent understanding of the despicable, intrusive, freedom denying concepts of the politics they are supporting.
They participate in group think. If one of us thinks this or believes this, then we must all get in line & blindly support this. w/o thinking about the consequences of what such a system would impose on America, & how such a system would destroy our freedoms.
They need to talk to Vaclav Klaus, the President of the Czech Republic. He lived under this despicable system of government & he knows it...

That this type of music was used to 'torture' our enemies who we were trying to elicit information from in order to save the lives of Americans & other human beings, is about as comical & insane as it gets.
It is true this stuff is despicable & if it is what we are to recognize as music, is it any wonder many seek drugs to escape?
These guys have no legal case, so long as royalties are paid according to the purchase agreement for the music. So I guess those offended will have to assuage their objections, with the checks they get for their 'music.'
That they are offended & consider playing their music to be torture, is as comical as it gets. Think about it. They are actually admitting their music stinks so bad, one can torture...

An interesting scientific fact, confirmed by actual scientists like Dr. Lindzen, is that the world can reduce its CO2 levels by one trillion tons. Its easy.
To reduce our CO2 levels by one trillion tons, & reduce the global temperature, all we need to do is.......
Stop any & ALL CO2 output, that includes those fires we may want to light in our caves or hovels to keep warm, for the next.... get this,
thirty three (33) YEARS! (Yep, I said 33 years!)
And what will we get for moving back to the stone age by doing away with all carbon emissions?
We will reduce the global temperature by......
get this folks................................

ONE DEGREE FAHRENHEIT!

Wow! All we have to do is go back to the stone...

I accept Ted Kennedy did good according to the constituency he represented. For the rest of us, his policies & plans represent only suspiciously influential special interest groups & individuals, and his desire to hold onto power.
In truth, if we logically limit a President to eight years or two terms, why not limit Senators to two terms or twelve years & Representatives to six terms or twelve years?
If one cannot get "their" idea's for this nation across in that amount of time, it may be because the idea's s**k!
Special interest groups are now running America & those groups are under the thumb of a select group of people who use their wealth & power to accumulate even more wealth & even more power!
They are dangerous, in...
Where private property rights prevail, average people succeed & prosper. Where private property rights are subject to government whimsy, they are trampled by the government, any government, and the people are less free & more subject to bureaucratic abuse. Thugs & totalitarian governments hate private property rights. They wax eloquently about serving the collective good & equalizing the playing field by allocating property to all. Bunk! Those same thugs & their allied cabal always seem to be the ones who end up owning almost all of the property worth owning.
Thug governments claim they are for the people, the have nots. Yeah, right. In the end, all the people get are a new cabal of haves who are brutally greedy & share less than...
When Kelo came down, many were upset. New London politicians enabled those involved to seize private property. Apparently, they did this by creating a 'Development Corporation' whose sole purpose was to 'get the land.' The Pfizer Corporation avoided some of the direct responsibility, by allowing political types to do their dirty work. All hid behind the "its good for the community & the tax base" meme.
O'Conner was right in her Supreme Court dissent. If Pfizer & New London politicians can do this, then no property in America is safe from taking by another w/ more political clout & a 'promise' to pay more taxes. (This claim was made despite reports the reality was that Pfizer would get taxpayer subsidies to construct their new...

I find it incredible that liberals are stunned & angry with Town Hall protesters. Rather than learn from the dissent, they attack the dissenters. Vilifying your enemy might have worked for Alinsky, but the very real fact is, Americans are onto that one & they do not like it.
The report 'fishy' stuff the White House has called for, is eerily reminiscent of earlier days when another government encouraged its citizenry to report on their fellow citizens. The intention may not have been the same, but the perception definitely is.
What stuns me, is that Democrats seem to be intent on forcing through legislation the people hate & who will surely demand the new members of Congress throughly repeal instantly.
Perhaps, just perhaps,...
