Well, we have to hold our party accountable to its pledges of small gov't. When thet don't, we should boot them out just like we would to Dems. in Gov't when we get the chance in elections.

They claim idealogical purity and try to set themselves above the fray; no candidate is perfect enough for them, yet they themselves don't do anything to change things other than vote/ or in this case, not vote. Good points overall. However we reform / improve the Party is important, but we cannot ignore the fact that the electorate has by and large ABANDONED the American Ideals that our party espouses, especially the Conservative ones. With all due respect to Michael & his father, todays electorate is radically different from that of 1980-1988. This electorate would not have elected President Reagan if he ran today, nor would they have elected President Reagan back in the '80s if that electorate existed as it is today back then. The TRUE FAULT is with the electorate ! A majority of it has bought into welfare / Gov't benefits for no work, forever. A soln. to that problem is a far greater conversation that must be faced NOW.
