I got over the bad feelings I had for lawyers defending horrible people decades ago. What bothers me is that when you have a horrible crime and the press is giving it day after day after day of coverage for months at a time, the high profile, top lawyers that flock to give the defendant the kind of defense only millionaires could afford. They jump in front of a camera and use the most insidious defenses and act like their client is a choir boy that was framed, charges totally made up or incompetence on the states attorney or police.

Good point. They aren't doing it because they feel the rapists deserve quality defense but because it will further their careers. Plenty of other rapists get incompetent state-sponsored attys. But if you want a fame-ho atty, there have to be cameras rolling.
