It's not quantity. It's quality.

So what? Good for him. I wish everyone to pay lower effective tax rates and lower total taxes, within the law. Find another objection to Mitt.

Mitt subscribes to one of the chief fallacies of the past 100+ years, that a "minimum wage" is beneficial to the people whom it purports to benefit, when in fact it's the polar opposite. Not to mention, it's an assault on liberty. He's got lots of company, but he won't get my vote. Another, related fallacy of our day, more recently adopted, is that carpool lanes reduce freeway congestion and pollution. In fact, they either tremendously increase the cost of new construction--for dedicated carpool ramps--or merely effectively shut down a lane of the freeway during times when it's most needed. Both are economic fallacies, based on childishly incorrect assumptions about human behavior. Support for them is almost religious in nature.

The Nebraska farmers choose their line of work and accept payment for what they produce and sell. That payment is their reward. If you want them to have subsidized postal services as some additional reward, then you and like minded others go ahead and pay for that yourselves, voluntarily and cheerfully.
