It seems strange to me, but Egypt had pharaohs China its emperors and Russia its Czars,the populace never seems to get out of that state of mind kowtowing to the ruler.We really never had one(George) or respected one,and that state just doesn't prevail in the USA.

Years ago, when Texas law forbade branch banking, there were no bi bank crises. So, for my part , if more states re-instituted this type of law,thew problem would be solved.
