Frankly, the last bit of my real hope for the US died with that election. I was no big fan of Romney (I grew up non-Mormon in Mormon country), but he was a decent person with real accomplishments. Faced with another four years of a disaster whose only redeeming feature is his skin color--I actually mean that, it was/is a good thing to have someone other than a elite white as POTUS--Romney should have won by acclamation. The fact that he didn't win at all is far more disheartening than having another four years of the man child.

Halliburton hit 71 in Jun--its high under the dread Bush/Cheney was about 40. Your guy has certain.y fixed that, hasn't he.

Charles... It is pretty simple... US business is liquidating. Not investing, not taking risks, not hiring. Putting lots on the bottom line, looking for a new home someplace less hostile. This will continue until the USA discovers capitalism works or until pigs fly. I am betting on the pigs.

The late Joe McCarthy was a drunk and had other problems. But--he was a lot more right than wrong.
Because we have fallen down the rabbit hole--including this author.
