Hello Katie Pavlich, I'm grateful that your article points out incidents where Christians are being persecuted in the Islamic world. Lately especially, I've been praying for these Christians. I pray for Muslims too, that they would repent and turn to Jesus to save them. Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and the only way to God that leads to eternal life. However...just based on the information you give in the article, I would not say that Cleric Anjem Choudary is preaching hate. You don't quote him as calling for any sort of violence or persecution against Christians; he is simply telling Muslims they should not celebrate Christmas, based on their religion. That's not hate, any more than what I said above is hate.
I'm as conservative as they get. I place the blame here mostly with the President and Democrats. They haven't even come up with a budget in two years. However...in this video, rude is rude. Period. They were rude to this guest and wouldn't let him speak. His talking points weren't the best, but still...let the poor guy talk, given that they asked him on the show.
Valerie, According to the testimony before Congress, folks on both side of the border were killed because of these illegal gun sales. Isn't it rather sick to say that this is a "non-story?"
RamonAdams, what you describe is exactly what happens when Democrats are elected!
And Munck...sarcasm aside, you should note something: the court document you referred to says that, under Bush's watch, relatively few guns crossed the border, and those that did were recovered in cooperation with Mexican police. Under Obama's watch, at least more than a thousand guns crossed the border and then went untraced into actual use. So...when Bush and Obama go to jail, I think Obama's sentence should be much greater, don't you?
Munck, right you are! I missed the link that showed the court document. I'm now convinced that both George Bush and Barack Obama are criminals. Don't you think that George Bush should be charged with this crime, and that Obama should be immediately impeached, removed from office, and charged as well?
Munck, I read the article you linked here, as well as the articles it links to. However, I didn't see any proof listed that shows that guns crossed the border under Bush's watch. I'm no George Bush fan, but I'm trying to be fair here. The article says that there are photos showing guns that were laid out for drug cartel buyers to view. However, we know that...they were allowed to buy, and then they were immediately arrested on this side of the border. In fact, the ATF agent interviewed in the article didn't even get stationed at the Phoenix office until 2010, so he would not have had any opportunity to witness anything going on except under Obama.

I wonder if poorman2011 is on to something. So now this new "doctrine" is established, which Congress has not challenged. So...the Arabs in Israel launch attacks on Jews. Israel responds. Obama uses force against Israel (or threatens to) and forces both sides into a UN-approved solution. At that point, Obama can claim to have solved the "Palestinian Problem," and leaves office with a feather in his cap. This might sound far-fetched, but Mr. Obama has some venomously anti-Israel folks in his administration, such as Stephanie Powers, who would like to see Israel destroyed.

Obama: The Absent-Minded President

David, I'd respectfully have to disagree with you here. Tim is right...Hitler and Mussolini were both socialists. Hitler ran his country under socialist principles, complete with socialist programs, as did Mussolini. And of course, a "Nazi" was a member of Hitler's National *Socialist* German Workers' Party. No, there was nothing far right about Hitler or Mussolini. True, Hitler opposed the Soviets; however, that doesn't mean he opposed socialism, or that he was right-wing. I'm not saying that leftists or socialists (or even fascists) are responsible for Hitler. I'm just saying that Hitler was not "of the right", nazism was not of the right, and fascism was not a movement of the right. Fascism was brown socialism.
