HR-I certainly hope your "is very amusing to me" remark is made in JEST. I have never considered it "amusing" that many Good, Decent people are, in fact, forced to depend on Welfare for a short time. I do find it despicable that far too many people have chosen to "make a Career of being Poor"! I don't think I can make my position any more CLEAR! I, myself, have been POOR. I did NOT like that status and took steps to alleviate it! I certainly NOT Exceptional in any way!
From New York to New Mexico and across the dependent plains, welfare recipients are getting sauced on the public dime. Drunk, besotted, bombed. But while politicians pay lip service to cutting government waste, fraud and abuse, they're doing very little in practice to stop the EBT party excesses. Where's the compassion for taxpayers?
