Only watch movies by Conservatives if you are a Conservative--Hollywood would go broke since they think we have all the money

Rowdy cant understand the fact that some people actually go to the movies to be entertained or to watch art. This is another example of dividing Americans into thosse with the red bandana and those with the blue. Once we pick a side, we are supposed to support EVERYTHING our side puts out and hate EVERYTHING, the "other side" puts out. Come on. We are all Americans. Liberal Americans and Conservative Americans can agree on some things. Lets figure out what those are and work on them and then work on the hard stuff and figure out a way to a win-win solution.

To me, its not a matter of hate this, support that.

At one time, I was a sports fanatic. Now, I could give a whit because the money has become so obscene. Now, a dad can't afford to take his son to a ball game because they've got to pay player X, Y & Z, 25 million.

Same with the entertainment industry. The price has gotten so out of hand because idiots like Damon get paid obscene amounts of money. So, with actors, if they choose to use their celebrity to promote causes, heck with them. On the other hand, I'm sure that there are many lefty actors that keep their mouths shut and opinions to themselves that I'm just fine with.

Actor Matt Damon has a new movie coming out on January 4 called "Promised Land." Damon made the film with a goal of exposing the so-called havoc fracking wreaks on local communities. The problem? Damon received his funding for the film from the United Arab Emirates, a country poised to make billion of dollars in oil money if fracking is banned in America. This is a fact Damon denies.

Last week, pro-fracking filmmaker Phelim McAleer confronted Damon about the funding of Promised Land.
