Ron Paul got a lot of press and has a cult like following but he garnered few actual votes. gary Johnson is far saner and far more responsible and garnered even fewer. Just saying.

Ron Paul was on the ballot before, multiple times, so is better known than Johnson. I'm hoping Rand Paul will run - and win - in 2016

Ron Paul came off as some kind of a nut job. His Cult following mimicked Obama's Cult except Paul wasn't "black". He therefore lost all the 95% of the black vote., He also wasn't able to cheat as well as Obama's people.

I didn't hear or see Gary Johnson's name until I saw it on the ballot with the other fringe candidates.

Keep thinking that jimbo, and keep losing. Many of us think Romney mimicked Obama with his obvious love of big government, but Romney wasn't "black".

Gary Johnson was governor of New Mexico for two successful terms. He is out only because of term limits. He tried the Republican primaries but got no traction and dropped out very early on. While he is certainly not one I would vote for Gary Johnson is a politician of real substance.

I think Paul mimicked Obama on foreign policy but he wasn't black.

There are a lot of people that are governor for 2 terms but that does not make them good.

Soul-searching is not in the GOP’s blood. Many Republicans see themselves as stoic, rugged and hardworking individuals. But after twice losing the White House to an ex-community organizer and failing to mobilize the base, Republicans need to take a trip to a mountainous valley, sip some tea and meditate.

In the quiet of nature, I think Republicans would find that the solutions to winning lie within themselves. After my own reflection, I developed three key insights into how the GOP can win presidential elections going forward:

#1 Keep an open mind

Early on, talking heads like Ann Coulter disparaged Romney...
