With sociopathic crooks running both business and government, why should it come to as a surprise that the economy is shrinking. Full-time jobs are scarce, and people continue to lose homes. Then officials give a disingenuous "surprise" that the economy continues to sink. They know that the politicians purposely broke the economy. Crony politicians continue on their crooked ways, as We the People, who don't mean anything to them anyway, continue to suffer from politicians' runaway greed and corruption. The feigned "surprise" is a crock. P.S. The above articles states "...the last quarter of 2013." I assume the reference would be to the last quarter of 2012.
