I really believe Hollywood has begun its war on age of consent and hopes for the same terrific results they've had with gay issues. It's entirely possible that public morality will shift in the same way and the age of consent will be lowered to at least 15, if not lower, 10 years time. Silly me, I still think this is a harder sell, but I'm old and old fashion. Check out "Moonrise Kingdom". Clever, cute,....disturbing because about "love" between boy and girl 12 years old.

I just watched a movie "Moonrise Kingdom" . It was I believe Hollywoods toe in the water or finger in the wind to see how the public would take to things like lowering the age of consent and "tolerating" children hooking up and or mainstreaming child porn. They used children to tell a very adult story. It was wrapped up in some humorous moments and gently put forth. But I still think the child actors in the movie were used.

Hey, wouldn't we all like to escape our more difficult responsibilities. But most of us don't because we want to eat and we actually love our children, even when they are difficult. Obama, instead of having the hardest job in the world, seems to have the easiest. Hop on your jet with your family, or not with family, play some golf and hang out with celebs and leave the hard stuff to the toadies.

I agree. I believed the press about his braininess. But even if he is that intelligent, what good is it if he isn't wise? He is so wrapped up in himself, that he has no time or interest in the work of being President of the United States. He is a campaigner because that is about HIM. He appoints "ends justifies the means" people to run things and then heads for the golf course. Its possible he actually doesn't know anything! So who is running the country?

I noticed that too. He has a difficult time remembering to say "we". I thought that was a glaring example of his huge ego.
