Washington state HAD civil union on the books, and the homosexual activists were not satisfied. By re-defining marriage they now have a way to FORCE those who call their behavior wrong to be silent.

The first use of the law (Gods law) is to prevent chaos. The second use of the law is to be a mirror (showing us that we cannot keep the law perfectly as God requires) The third use of the law is as a guide to what pleases God and what want to do to please him. Government is only involved in the first law. However, if the second and third aspect of the law is removed from our lives, we come to the problem that our forefathers saw. A nation such as ours can only exist with a people that can restrain themselves...that acknowledge moral boundaries and as a nation those boundaries are generally the same.

Hurray for someone understanding the idea of standards! And that humanity will never and can never achieve perfection. What is unfortunate is that in many areas of human behavior we've decided that standards are oppressive and mean and make people feel bad so we get rid of the standards!

(Conservative in name only) I'm fully convinced finally that the Republican party is just Democrat light. They may have a few more scruples, but their goal is the same....power and control. You can bet he didn't have himself filmed watching the proceedings in getting Osama until he knew it was a done deal. It was also sort of scheduled (as opposed to Benghazi surprise) so he could work it in between golf games. This man is a fraud! When does he "work"?

So long ago we were told if we tolerate gay behavior, all would be well. Then we were told if we accept it, all would be well. Then we were told if we just stay silent and thus affirm gay behavior, all would be well. Now we MUST by action and word, affirm and support it. The slippery slope, the horse out of the barn etc. is so obvious here!

I really believe Hollywood has begun its war on age of consent and hopes for the same terrific results they've had with gay issues. It's entirely possible that public morality will shift in the same way and the age of consent will be lowered to at least 15, if not lower, 10 years time. Silly me, I still think this is a harder sell, but I'm old and old fashion. Check out "Moonrise Kingdom". Clever, cute,....disturbing because about "love" between boy and girl 12 years old.
