Right-to-Work Laws Shouldn’t Exist, so Why Am I Happy about What Happened in Michigan?

I live in a RTW state and would not have it any other way. Competition for jobs keeps the pay great, costs lower, etc. As a boss, I can fire an inept employee as needed. Sure they can sue, but if I fired them, they deserved it and it was well documented. Laziness, excessive absences, bad attitude, poor work output...those are not allowed. So the cost to companies is much lower & the workers are of better caliber. Unions have even hurt RTW states. Because of the ridiculous added costs created by unions, it had cost jobs in our area. Manufacturing companies depending on reasonably priced steel & other goods from union companies have had to close their doors or layoff workers as they can no longer compete with other countries.
