Not all killers are treated the same in the U.S. After four tours of duty AND two injuries ONE of them traumatic brain injury let us think about mercy, medical and psych care.
If supporting the troops is important to you, Ron Paul is your candidate! For veterans and active duty who support Ron Paul and want to see him elected President in 2012. This page is also for anyone who supports veterans speaking out for freedom. http://www.facebook.com/VetsforRonPaul
Instead of securing our borders, we’ve been planning, initiating and waging wars of aggression. Our military is spread thin all across the planet, yet we remain involved in dangerous power plays that unnecessarily put the lives of our soldiers at risk. And we brazenly squandered the wealth of our nation as if there were no tomorrow. It doesn’t make any sense unless you consider increasing the profits of the military-industrial complex to be in the “national interest”, no matter what the cost to the rest of us may be. America first. That is what Ron Paul‘s national defense proposal is all about. http://www.ronpaul.com/on-the-issues/national-defense/
Hundreds of thousands of our fighting men and women have been stretched thin all across the globe in over 135 countries – often without a clear mission, any sense of what defines victory, or the knowledge of when they’ll be permanently reunited with their families. Acting as the world’s policeman and nation-building weakens our country, puts our troops in harm’s way, and sends precious resources to other nations in the midst of an historic economic crisis. Taxpayers are forced to spend billions of dollars each year to protect the borders of other countries, while Washington refuses to deal with our own border security needs. Ron Paul has delivered more than 4,000 babies. He believes that human life starts at conception, and that casual elimination of the unborn leads to a careless attitude towards all life. Recalling his personal observation of a late-term abortion performed by one of his instructors during his medical residency, Ron Paul stated, “It was pretty dramatic for me to see a two-and-a-half-pound baby taken out crying and breathing and put in a bucket.”

Ron, Paul served as a flight surgeon from 1963 to 1968 in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard. Only about 5 percent of congressmen today are veterans, he said. “The U.S. government tends to ignore veterans,” he said. “They’re anxious to get us in the military, but they forget about us when we come back.” Paul said protecting veterans’ rights to medical benefits is a major priority for his office.
