Forbidden Advice for Plain Jane in Combat

The military was never intended to be an equal opportunity employer. It was intended to put the best, strongest, men on the field for one purpose, and that is to overwhelm the enemy. The physical standards must be reduced for women to succeed because they are inherently weaker, and do not have the stamina of men. My grandmother was a wash woman and could out arm wrestle any one of her strapping 6 foot + teenage boys, once. Then her lack of stamina made a repeat impossible. Men naturally are protectors of women. That is a factor which either must be ignored or regarded as unimportant in battle. Enemy forces do not just retain women captives. They rape them first to humiliate them. And we approve? God help us!

Correct. The military is not an "employer" and serving in the military is not a "job." The military is a fighting force created to protect our nation and our way of life against enemy combatants. The function of military force members is to close with and destroy the enemy. This is not a social soiree, it is massive destruction and death dealt out with lightning speed and gargantuan force. When a 120 lb woman closes with a 250 lb man in combat, he is going to grab her by her skinny neck, take her rifle away from her like a parent taking a toy from a misbehaving child, slap her unconscious and stuff her in his backpack so he can have fun with her later. If she's lucky, he will just gut her with one swipe of his bayonet and leave her to die.

"Men naturally are protectors of women". Sorry, the criminal statistics on the violence against women ANYWHERE belies that.
The legal recourse to be able to get justice for those crimes has only been in recent decades. Women are still arguing over EASY and inexpensive access to birth control and other sexual health services. And the laws that would give this medical choice to them, is typically decided and rejected by MEN. Even in areas that require NO brute strength, women are still denied equal or at least open opportunity. Men are MOST combative with women, when it comes to possibly outclassing them in aspects OTHER than brutality. And that is what men resort to when other things don't keep them in control of a woman's destiny.

Once again my post has been raided with an advertisement. I guess Townhall is running short on cash.

American women have been cleared for combat, but the generals at the Pentagon only think they are the very model of the modern major general.

Women have been locked in combat since Adam and Eve were thrown out of the Garden of Eden. Men and women have been fighting the unending war between the sexes since, giving no quarter, but happily taking each other prisoner. It's a war nobody can win, as Henry Kissinger observed, because there's too much fraternizing with the enemy.

But when a helpful Amazonian warrior tries to shorten the odds for her side, someone invariably makes a...
