Townhall, I'm a conservative and embarrassed that you would print such an article as this condescending piece of trash from Mike Adams. Is this a website for political conservatives or only evangelical conservatives?

You are not a conservative. We conservatives appreciate all commentary even if we disagree.

What would a mormon author write, I wonder. That we should follow the angel of light who ran from the natives to give golden plates to a man fleeing New York a few steps ahead of the law and the christian community there that branded him a heretic?

Sounds almost as crazy as the Jew who said he was the Son of God and that he came to save mankind from his sins and he was crucified on a cross because the community there branded him a heretic. Come on man. You can disagree with Mormon theology but it is no more fantastic than your own!

The legitimacy of Christ was backed by the entire New Testament and prophecy of the Old.

The Mormon writer would probably say something along the lines of "We need to get our collective act together, quit squabbling over points of doctrine, and work with each other to get some people in Washington who can pull the country from the brink of disaster - no matter which flavor of Christian (or non-Christian, for that matter) you may be."

We will act together as citizens who come together for the betterment of this nation. I am able to disagree with people on one topic and agree with them on others.

Your right. The Jews should have just read the New Testament to determine the legitimacy of Christ. Then that whole misunderstanding on Golgatha could have been avoided. Ahh, but then there is that tiny problem with it not even existing back then. As for the Old Testament, I'm pretty certain the Jews today don't come to the same conclusions that you do in regards to Jesus.
