Make the Democrats Own the Obama Economy

Romney lost because the Republicans did not bother to vote, and the Democrats few of which actually have or want a real job, did vote because they were promised freebies. Romney was clearly superior to Obama. Truth is if the GOP simply voted, Obama would be gone

Question: If R voters can't be troubled to vote when they have an honorable man running against a really, really bad, god-awful, socialist president, what exactly WILL bring out the R voters?

Answer: No one knows. I no longer trust Boehner, Rove, McConnell, or any of the rest to plan a platform and campaign - they've already lost 4 of the previous 6 elections.

The solution is abandonment of the R party for a coalition of conservatives who will actually vote and libertarians who will actually vote. (You can recruit new voters from the Green Party, too, but wouldn't recruiting libertarians be ideologically easier?) Let them stay with the R(ino) party; the rest of us can start create a legitimate alternative to BO & Friends socialism.

I agree. It's people like jturning who ended up giving the election to Obama.

One bright spot of Barack Obama's re-election was knowing that unemployment rates were about to soar for the precise groups that voted for him -- young people, unskilled workers and single women with degrees in gender studies. But now the Democrats are sullying my silver lining by forcing Republicans to block an utterly pointless tax-raising scheme in order to blame the coming economic Armageddon on them.

Democrats are proposing to reinstate the Bush tax cuts for everyone ... except "the rich." (Why do only tax cuts come with an expiration date? Why not tax increases? Why not...
