Unfortunately your analysis is flawed on the low side, you have forgotten the prevalence of double income families filling joint returns so the net of higher taxes is cast far wider and its impact will be on those families, not individual taxpayers earn over $250k!

RonC-Thank U for that observation! Two Family members fall into that category being described and both have said it's probably a no-win situation. And while I have never made that kind of money, I do visit them in Fairfax Co, Va from time to time and I can say for certain that 250K won't make you rich anytime soon in that neck-of-the-woods.
We have heard many times from President Barack Obama how he plans to raise taxes on "millionaires and billionaires," but not on the middle class. Apparently, if you don't happen to be a millionaire or billionaire, you don't have to worry.
