Not so sure newspapers are that important as they once were. Only we old folks still read them and the under 30 crowd uses their IPADs, phones and comedy shows to stay informed and to decide they political positions. I have this on direct comments from two family members that thought Obama was the man to solve all our problems. You know, global warming, fairness, all that key stuff.

If the LA Times were to become a newspaper and not a liberal rag I would stop reading my local and subscribe immediately and I live in the other CA up north near that city of all things liberal SF.

It seems that the main problem is the MSM and their inability to be open minded and simply report the news and not become self centered propaganda machines. Obama became accustomed to not being criticized until now and he has stepped in it by tapping the AP communications. Finally, the MSM sees a problem after it smacked them in the head. Go figure....

I have wondered for some time now how many illegals are receiving welfare. With the very weak controls we have I suspect more than we think. Then, how many of these that get it no longer live in the US and simply have their checks re-mailed to them in Mexico. We are a bunch of softhearted, brainless patsies.
