Fallofu: Barry and the ObambacRATS took control of Congress on Jan 3, 2007, and that's when the economy went to H*ll. The terrible economy that Barry inherited in 2009 was his own creation, from what had been a thriving one with 4.7% unemployment and 300,000 additional private-sector jobs every month. No jobs needed to be "saved".

Yes, under Bush, the last year the Republicans held Congress, the deficit had shrunk to $162 billion. The first year the Dems took over it jumped to $455 billion, and the first obama year it jumped to $1.4 trillion.

Hey you are NOT allowed to use facts. It was the omnipotent, evil Bush that caused this. Then obviously passed that omnipotence of the executive office to the house minority to 'block' everything the enlightened one attempted. ( bacause you cannot see me, you do not realize, i cannot even type that without laughing!)

Well, it actually goes back farther than that, but you're right to be blaming mostly Democrats. With Barney Frank heading the oversight committee managing FNMA, Fannie literally doubled the size of the housing collapse by acting as the sole source of secondary purchases of mortgages long after other thrifts had spotted the problem and stopped buying mortgages. But the policies that caused the bubble in the first place came from the Clinton years, and the guys who milked Fannie and Freddie of millions were ex-Clintonistas.

They learned how to bilk the housing market on Madison Guarantee, then they did it on the entire US economy. Clinton should spent the rest of his life in jail, but he won't pay 'till he faces the Almighty, most likely.

Dear Mac,

Christian beliefs in the public square are increasingly under attack.

Here’s an example:

The Connecticut Post chose to not put a "Merry Christmas" greeting in print on...
