I have never once heard a conservative, or anybody, advocate doing away with welfare. Rather, what is advocated is a wholesale overhaul of the system that blindly promotes fraud, waste, and abuse with no oversight. I daresay, with controls in place, that you would most likely find that you would be eligible for more if the system were overhauled because the waste of money would greatly diminish. Don't take people's comments personally because of your unique situation. The real issue needs to be addressed concerning those fraudsters who prevent people like you from getting enough subsistence. You would agree with that, no?

Then, again, there are those "hidden" costs that aren't easily tracked. I personally know a young couple who receive assistance and who have talked about all the recent "stuff" they've gotten - new Xbox; new tats; massage sessions; how ofte they go to eat; the movies they go to. Of course, all this is bought with his miniscule paycheck from his low end jobs. begs the question - do they really need welfare assistance?
