Your point about Obama's 'readiness" to address the Rose Garden issue is borne out by the fact (as others have pointed out) that Crowsfeet just happened to have a transcript of the speech immediately to hand, pertinent "corroboration" no doubt highlighted, and that Obama knew she had it. No collusion there, right?

it's a generic remark ..... "Check the transcript." He was inviting everyone listening, including Crowley, to check the transcript.

I keep hearing that Crowley had a transcript of his speech. Sorry, but I don't see that in the video. All she did was say Obama was right, which of course was wrong.

President Obama’s lie at the debate--that he made an early call the Benghazi attack was terror-- was petty and ludicrous.

It was petty because, as a semantic dispute, it grasped brief advantage that necessarily had to yield to inevitable fact-checking. It was ludicrous because, as a matter of history, it pretended two weeks of vehement, contradictory spin from the administration never happened.
