Your local Republican can't raise your taxes. But nice little comparison. "See - see Republicans do it too!"

And because he didn't speak up against the council who wanted to raise your taxes, you summed that up as "the republican raised my taxes". Figures.

Our County CEO (Republican) could have voiced his opinion not to raise our property taxes but just the opposite he agreed with the increase. I know he cannot alone raise taxes but he could have lent his voice on the council not to raise them, he did not.

During an interview with 60 Minutes Sunday, President Obama said he hasn't raised taxes.

OBAMA: Well, it's a lot of rhetoric, but there aren't a lot of facts supporting it. Taxes are lower on families than they've been probably in the last 50 years. So I haven't raised taxes.  I've cut taxes for middle class families by an average of $3,600 per typical family.”

Let me remind Mr. Obama of his signature piece of legislation: ObamaCare. ObamaCare was classifed by the Supreme Court of the United States in June as a big, giant tax.
