In response to:

Maybe We Really Can’t All Just Get Along

Everything that Derek wrote is the pure truth. The problem is those that have not drank of the kool-aid yet, is that they are a shrinking group. It’s the seniors, that grew up in the real America, before the progressives poisoned our culture, and as each year passes, they die off. In the meantime, our public education system, now under the complete control of progressives, turn out new armies of indoctrinated believers, every year, to enter the voter pool, after 13-24 years of Marxist indoctrination. Ready and willing to take out anyone that is not a member of their ideology. This new progressive control where feelings trumps the rule of law, is not going to end well. We now live in the culture of the lie.

During the Los Angeles riots of 1992, Rodney King famously asked, “Can’t we all just get along?” The answer should be an easy and unequivocal “yes,” but it seems less and less likely these days.

King was speaking in term of race, but the same could be said of political ideology. Liberals, conservatives and every other point on the political spectrum used to co-exist fairly easily (with the exception of left-wing anarchists who don’t get along with anyone). But these days détente has given way to anger and open hostility.

Some, not all, people have become less civil to those...
