Come on Walter, do you really think that our dear leader has idea of what you are laying out here? This raise the minimum wage trick, is for his collective mob to enjoy. And I would bet that the idea did not strike our messiah out of the blue, instead it was whispered into his ear by his union masters. They spent a lot of money getting him elected, they want to be paid now. After all a nice little 25% increase in the minimum wage requires a 25% increase in the union’s wages too - just to be fair.

The longterm goal is to produce a commensurate inreas in all wges. Since income increases in a linear fashion but income taxes increase exponentially, when it's all said and done it winds up being nothing but a big tax increase.
