We are deep in debt and going deeper every day. It’s no secret that our elected leaders in Washington DC are spending about 45% more then they have, and refuse to admit it. They refer to it as not collecting enough income taxes yet. When you consider that every thing they do fails, and they are the most ineffective spenders, mostly because of the graft and corruption, what could be wrong with giving all these hard working union members a raise? They tell us there is no inflation, so why do these folks need a raise? Is it do the many failures they oversee every day? What we need is a 45% across the board deduction in the budget, but of course you would need a budget to do that, and our elected leaders even failed at that.

The House of Representatives today will vote to freeze the pay of federal employees, which would extend a policy that President Obama wants to put to an end. Obama is seeking a pay increase for federal workers.

 

The GOP-led House is expected to pass the bill on Friday, but it's likely to receive a cold reception in the Democratic-controlled Senate.

Budget hawks, in supporting the freeze, say the average federal worker compensation, including benefits, is nearly double the median U.S. household income. They point to a 2012 Congressional Budget Office study showing that, while...
