First, as a demonstration of our resolve we should detonate a small nuke in a remote spot in the Saudi Arabian desert, harming no one and damaging nothing but some sand, with the message the the next nuke will be detonated over Medina if another terrorist act should occur. Should there be another terrorist act, obliterate Medina and issue the warning that the next terrorist act will result in the obliteration of Mecca. Saudi Arabia has, for many years, been the source of funding for terrorists and also the source of radical Islamic theology. They need to understand there is a price to be paid for allowing that. And we don't need their oil any more, so nuke them until they glow.

The supposed recent rise in the rate of "reported" sexual assaults in the military may very well consist of a significant number of cases of false reports as well. Having served 26 years in the military during the time the number of women serving increased exponentially, I witnessed a number of cases where women falsely accused their superiors of sexual harassment and/or sexual assault. Just because a woman said it happened doesn't necessarily mean it really did happen. Honest and thorough investigation of such allegations MUST be undertaken to find out the truth.

Absolutely right!!! Those Republicans/Conservatives who insist on 100% Conservative purity in General election candidates will, in the long run, cause the death of the Republican party. Given the nature of the electorate (the voters) in the Northeast in general and in NH in particular, you have to take what you can get, bite your tongue, and vote for the best available candidates. Otherwise you will be abandoning the country to the likes of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and Jeanne Shaheen.

Since 2005, I have owned three Winnebagos - all purchased new. I have never seen such a warning label. Urban legends can live forever, it seems. The label you describe would seem to be saying it's O.K. to leave the driver's seat if the cruise control is NOT engaged and it is only hazardous to leave the seat WITH the cruise control engaged.

A constitutional convention would be a very dangerous undertaking for the people of America. Such a convention would be able to completely rescind the current constitution and replace it with one that would totally "transform America" (where have you heard that phrase before?). The delegates to such a convention would be elected by the same idiots who gave us Obama, Reid, and Pelosi. Just imagine that trio and others of their ilk writing a new constitution for the United States of America. Very scary. Just say no to a constitutional convention. As slow and cumbersome as it is, the current method of amending the constitution has served us pretty well for a long time and we do not need to change what works.
Stupid is as stupid does, Joe. Any child born anywhere in the world who has at least one American citizen as a parent is, by law, a natural born American citizen. Three of my grandchildren were born in Europe. Their father, my son, was and is an American citizen. Their mother was, at the time, a Dutch citizen (she's since become an American citizen). I have in my possession, a U.S. Department of State Form FS-240 signed by the Consul in Amsterdam for each of these kids. It states on that form "A Consular Report of Birth is proof of United States Citizenship by law: 22 USC 2705". Wise up and get yourself educated, Joe.
