Libertarians' Awkward Bedfellows

MariansMusings Wrote: Feb 27, 2013 10:48 AM
It is time Libertarians merged with the GOP and formed alliances with tea party individuals there. Only such an alliance will have the strength to defeat establishment Republicans. Maybe then Karl Rove and his ilk will be relegated to the trash heap of history.
No, many are not eligible for the benefits. Like the self-employed, whose business has tanked. Like construction workers or commissioned sales people.
Good call Dynomite. And don't forget the boy they sent back to Cuba.
One of the most tragic embarrassing moments for Democrats was when Roosevelt refused to allow a ship of Jewish refugees to land in America during WWII. Carter's inept and failed rescue of Iranian hostages also ranks right up there. But Carter giving away Panama was inexplicable. Right now we could use the money it was bringing in. Never mind our investment in the project. MusingsByMarian dot com.
“I am a little astonished at times, that too many adult Americans do not understand the nature of the fight against Communism as clearly as I understood it at the age of 12; they continue to believe that only the methods are evil, while Communist ideals are noble. All the victories of Communism since the year 1917 are due to that particular belief among the men who are still free.” These words were written by Ayn Rand, an author that experienced first hand the true effects of communism. McCarthy also understood, so he had to be squashed. Except for Reagan, there have been no serious efforts to rein in those that are intent on destroying capitalism and therefore our way of life since.

Rove Vs. the Tea Party

MariansMusings Wrote: Feb 06, 2013 10:03 AM
Karl Rove was the wimp architect of many weak, failed policies that exposed Bush to unwarranted criticism. When Barney Frank blocked the Bush attempts to rein in Fannie Mae, Rove should have had Bush yelling the problem from the rooftops in press conferences since the major media would not cover it. Rove needs to retire to obscurity. MusingsbyMarian dot com

Karl Rove Vs. the 'Far Right'

Far right....far left. Without fiscal responsibility all the ideology in the world is not worth a pot of...well the ideology is meaningless. MusingsbyMarian dot com
California is famous not only for exporting really big mistakes, but for doubling down on them when it is apparent they have failed. As California goes, so goes the nation-especially since many key players in mistaken Keynesian policy, Pelosi, Feinstein, Boxer, Christina Romer, etc. etc. come from that state and are known for forcing their failed policies on the rest of the country. Oprah Hosts Obama's Mia Culpa 2020

you weren't listening. He (and the Clintons) apologize at every opportunity-for America's success, her power in the world; for a being colonial, slave-owning monster of a country; for being a Christian country (and wiping that out with a proclamation.)

Of course the mea culpas won't happen. There will be no regrets, because the bad results of his policy are exactly what he is trying to achieve. Oprah won't ask the questions either. She also attended Rev. Wright's church, and is completely on the same page or she wouldn't have helped elect him. MusingsByMarian dot com
