Speaking of "man-hating" these days - the image of the "men" in media that are supposed to be the ones that are looked down on/viewed with contempt/a theat to women/ and the list goes on --- are clean cut white ones (and this includes no earrings or tattoos). This "image" in media - a woman often times will slap or throw a drink in his face or worse. And the woman puts this "image" is his place, his head hanging in shame, and the viewing audience cheering. And the clean cut white guy "image" (never having earrings or tattoos) takes an absolute pounding in commercials! - have been noticing this kind of stuff for a few years now.

You're not the only one who has noticed this...the inmates are running the asylum. Used to be when you saw some fruitcake it was only in the village and in SF, the rest of us were the norm and the country had standards. The libs never liked standards and those whose votes they sought had even less, so lower the standards, that's what libs do and the result is a dumber, coarser, less moral society...who brought the immorality and drugs into the schools? Nobody wants to address that , thats not PC dontchaknow.

Is it just me, or are the so called 'men' we see more often or not on t.v. in all venues, and the movies more like 'girly men'? Very few exhibit masculinity, and those MEN are of the conservative mindset. The liberals who infest these sites as well as those in politics don't seem to have a clue about how a man should act. And it also seems to me, that these she/males are the ones who attract the feminnazis..must be a control issue as in feminazi's have to wear the pants or else.

I have two twentysomething daughters who’re currently taking over the planet. When these female charges popped out of their mommy’s womb, this thing called “responsibility for their upbringing” hit me like a Jackie Chan punch.

I didn’t slough off my role in their lives onto my wife, my church, public school, day care, relatives, TV, or “the village.” I didn’t expect any of the aforementioned to fill my boots chiefly because … they can’t.

Living in Miami, I knew I would have to pony up and become a major player in my little ones’ lives if I wanted them to...
