My husband and I discussed Biden's behavior during the debate and are truly convinced that a goodly part of his "joy" was alcohol induced. It may BE "just us", but we both wondered how many toots Joe imbibed before hitting the stage.

I agree and I had a relative die from alcholism. That may be the reason for his infamous gaffes. Just think he's a heart beat and a liver transplant away from the Office of the President.

I realize the primary responsibility of the White House Press Secretary is to defend the actions and misstatements of the president and vice president at all costs, but this is just downright pathetic. Wow:
