"New economic patriotism"....that's an interesting way of expressing it. What he wants to do is to take over the manufacturing industry and turn it into a modern day WPA. Government will mandate which products can and can not be sold, and "patriotic" Americans, out of their deep abiding respect and loyalty to our beneficent and generous government, will purchase those government-approved products.
