In response to:

Obama Administration to Defense Contractors: No Layoff Notices Until After Election, Please

Robin311 Wrote: Sep 29, 2012 11:07 PM
Don't ya' just love the honesty and integrity of the Obama administration? The law says "send out notices". Contractors indicate that they are going to comply with the law. If they comply with the law, they face NO risk of liability for failing to comply with the law. Yet this isn't the "right" thing to do, according to the Obama admin. So the admin offers them monetary compensation for any liability they might face if they fail to comply with the law. So the Obama admin would rather BRIBE these contractors to violate the law rather than be honest with the American people and experience the consequences of their action? Such an inspiring example for all of us, eh? /sarc

What you call a bribe, Robin, I see as a specific threat.

It is a very real and present threat. No doubt about that. The misuse and abuse of power taking place at the hands of Obama admin is dangerous to all of us.

But Obama is pinning his hopes on the 38% (my guess) like the cell phone person in cleveland who cannot spell contractor! That in spite of the $15 thousand per year of education funding that has been spent on them in school. The exit polls should determine the IQ of the voters. I personally believe the Obama voters will be the dumbest "tail to ever wag the dog"!

But, don't be deceived, this IS a CULT (Branch Dividian, anyone?) and nothing Obama could be convicted of, including child rape, would lose him one vote from among those people!

The fix is in! Republicans simply have to turn out in far greater numbers in November; Obama people will never learn!

Oh, and the last site listed above displays some very interesting stats about how Millenials are currently looking at the situation.

There's more reason to hope than we realize!

In an effort to make the economy look a little rosier than it is, the Obama administration is basically coercing defense contractors so as to prevent news of layoffs hitting voters before the election. With sequestration about to result in some major cuts to the defense budget, contractors will lose government business -- and that means, employees will lose jobs. But to prevent poor numbers ahead of the November election, the Obama administration has made it very, well, fiscally unwise for companies to issue layoff notices too early.

The Labor Department issued guidance in July saying it...
