Last obese President---Taft. 300# +. Clinton was bloaded for a while by I don't adhere to those stingent obesity standards of leftists.
More ready for what? By-pass surgery? Is he the next RINO in line after Romney if he loses to Obama? I thought it was Rubio.

This time will be different. I will research other candidates if necessary and vote my conscience. I will be glad if Obama loses, but not happy with Romney as his replacement. Another 8 years will likely pass until a solid Conservative is on the ballot for me to vote for in that scenario, that is not attractive. But hey, it is a long way to 1144 and all the money and endorsements haven't swayed the voters yet. Who knows, maybe you will have to vote for our guy.

Panda. I voted for Mitt Romney once. 2008. He then dropped out and endorsed the man I was trying to stop when I voted for him, John McCain (clearly a moderate at best). This cycle he is on stage with McCain and uses him to bash other Conservatives like Santorum and Gingrich. He will not get my vote again or my wife's. If Santorum drops without a fight and does the same I will not support him in 2016 after Romney's ultimate failure in November I suspect. You either stand for something or you don't. I will not vote for Obama, but I will vote. Sadly the choices may be very, very bad just like in 2008 when I held my nose for McCain.

By your logic, every voter currently not supporting Romney is a traitor since they may be helping Obama now? The traitor's in this country are not people who vote, even for Obama. People who stand on the sidelines and have allowed the government to be run by crooked politicians in both parties are the traitors, but no one who votes is a traitor. That is democracy.

When Ryan, Rubio, Cantor, etc. all back Romney you have got to question how we take over. Santorum is our one hope. Romney will not bring about change, he is the status quo and besides that he will get beat by Obama. Everywhere he is winning is where he will lose. Everywhere he is losing he will need to turn over (the red states, the rural areas). This is a losing proposition, the dems know it too.

Don't start softballing here pal. Down lower you called anyone not on board with Romney a traitor. You can stuff your defense of his failings as a Conservative. If Conservatism would not win in MA than Romney is excused from acting like one, eh? Well Conservatism is not selling in DC much, so I suppose he will be excused there as well.

Ron Paul is a kook who blames America for 9/11 and you want to "march" for his role in the future of our government? You are truly a fool and a "pand"erer. No serious person would let Ron Paul anywhere near control of our government. His record is possibly the least accomplished of any person in Congress with his tenure. But you think Romney is great too, so I suppose judgement of public service record is not high on your list of traits of our leaders. Romney ran a business, just like Paul ran his racist news letters, that may matter more to you.

Let's get this straight. Paul Ryan who supposedly is the first great hope to tackle entitlement reform since, hmmm...Gingrich and Santorum...endorses Romney. The man who created an entirely new entitlement program which not only served as the model for Obama's new entitlement program, but also is helping to bankrupt his former state after his one term in office? That's the deal right?
