We can pretty much scrap the GOP. The party does not do any more than lip service to true conservative ideals and will not even support its members that do. Start now and talk to friends, neighbors, relatives, Facebook friends, and teach conservative ideals. If you need a good reference book, I recommend Barry Goldwater's "Conscience of a Conservative." It is not a thick book but it does a good job of laying out American conservative principles. Also, when you teach those who don't know any better, teach from basic principles and not issue driven discussions.

What I have found is that liberals very seldom understand the basic ideals but tend to use soud bites or drag out some issue or politician to prove their point. They are incapable of arguing against ideas. A review of the Constitution is also a good idea.
Start asap vetting every political aspiree that you can contact from these principles and when the next election comes up give them support and get out the vote. Don't wait for four years, you won't have time then.

Didn’t think so.

Spinning the budget deal as a last-minute victory for the American people, the White House and Congress are saying that all the actors knuckled down, did the right thing and created a compromise budget deal that kept the country from going...
