Which Side is God On?

I think if you research the history of the sixties, you will find that the Democrats were totally against the Civil Rights movement. It was partially because of JFK's support of the Civil Rights Movement that he was assassinated by the liberal left. And the liberal left takes credit for the Civil Rights Movement? THEY HIJACKED IT! It was the Republicans who supported it, and continue to support the Civil Rights of Everyone to this day - no matter the color of your skin (MLK) - just as long as you are a legal citizen and abide by the laws of this country. Take note, all you illegal immigrants! You are here illegally and have no business nor right to be here. You have NO CIVIL RIGHTS unless and until you come here LEGALLY!

AMEN. It was very well put by someone whom I read the other day that WE had better be concerned that we are on GOD'S SIDE. That is exactly what Glenn Beck was trying to tell those who came to his Restoring Honor rally this past Saturday. If both conservatives and liberals would let God rule in their hearts and in their nation, we would see a return to the blessings that God wants so much to give us - if we will only be His people again.

Be careful of what you say, for even the sweet psalmist of Israel twice said in both Psalm 14:1 and Psalm 53:1 "The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God.'" You may not believe in God, but He certainly believes in you and that you exist.

It's not as insane as you think. Research and find out one of the reasons why we declared our independence from England. Why did Thomas Jefferson refer to "...of nature and Nature's God"? Why did the First Amendment guarantee the free expression of our religious beliefs? Just as there is a conservative and liberal interpretation of the Bible, there is also the same conservative and liberal interpretation of the Constitution. Perhaps it would help if you copied and pasted both the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution as Word Documents that you could refer to from time to time so that you might see what has been given to us, and how our government is slowly but surely taking away our inalienable rights given to us by...

See it in terms of the following statement" If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime. What do the liberals believe in? "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day." This way, the liberal will always have his vote; because if he votes that man out who has given him his fish, that man goes hungry. What do the conservatives believe in? "If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime." This way, the man votes for the conservative and thanks him for giving him the ability to fish in order that he may be fed for a lifetime - thus taking him off the roles of welfare, as he no longer needs it. Hence, the simple difference between a Conservative and a Liberal.

Time enough to know the real Obama

First, conservative Republicans must gain a significant control of the House so that Articles of Impeachment may be drawn up and implemented. Second, conservative Republicans must gain every single 1/3rd of the seats that are up in the Senate so that there might be a chance that we might try and remove this imposter from Kenya. Third, deport him to his home country of Kenya once and for all. I can deal with Joe Biden, because he IS a natural born citizen. I CANNOT deal with Barack Hussein "Barry Soetoro" Obama because he IS NEITHER a Christian nor a natural born citizen. Michelle Obama says that Kenya is her husband's Home Country, and Obama himself slipped and said that he was a Muslim. Can anyone say "Impeach, Try, and Remove...

Amen. I used to say God Bless America, but then my rights were slowly eroding away. Then I said, God Help America, believing that someone would listen instead of turning a deaf ear. Now I cry out, God Save America, because Obama & Company are doing so much damage that Martin Luther King would rise up out of his grave and condemn the current Administration and the current Congress for the travesty that is being done in the name of Civil Rights. What about My Civil Rights? They were violated 16 years ago, and not one single politician has done a single thing about it! Ever since we kicked God out of this country once blessed by Him, we have gone to Hell in a handbasket. It's no wonder we are in the shape that we are in. It's time...

Why I'm Running For Congress

Go for it, Star! It's time that conservative people like you and Chuck Norris run for Congress. As FDR tried to pack the Supreme Court, so it is time to pack the Congress with conservative.

It's time for the true Americans to take this country back!

You stated:

"I know there are some who don't believe a word Barack Obama says, but I'd like to hold on to the dream that he can bring us together."

When has he ever kept any of his promises? He says one thing in public and does the exact opposite in Washington, DC.

Has he and the Congress been transparent? Has he included the Republicans in the crafting of the Health Care bill? Has he listened to anything the Republicans have to offer in the way of Health Care Reform?

So how can you hold on to the dream that he will unite the country as one?

The Republicans have made it clear that they are NOT going to roll over and play dead on this one. We don't know about the Senate, but it is clear that NO...

The Ron Paul Delusion

Yes, Ron Paul is a Republican, but in his speeches he is in reality a Libertarian. Just go back to his speeches during the Republican Presidential Primary of 2008 to find out that is espouses the Libertarian views.
