What a wonderful thread! Sure beats whining about the Washington Kleptocracy. I grieved the loss of Kodachrome II. I loved the mailers and looked forward to getting my slides back. I eventually tired of carrying my Sekonic studio meter around with me and, as an experiment, taped the exposure guide that was on the inside of the KII box to the bottom of my battered Nikon-F and tried it in place of the light meter. It worked! Kodak didn't lie after all. And it never failed me. If in question I could always underexpose a half or whole f-stop and, worst case, would just get richer colors. If it was really something I wanted a shot of I would bracket. Now, bracketing is something associated with sports playoffs. Duh. For me,...
