Here's some food for thought. In March Homeland Secuity purchased 750 million rounds of S&W .40 Hollow Points. Last week the National Weather Service bought 40,000 rounds and The Social Security Administration bought 174.000 rounds. The Geneva Convention prohibits the use of Hollow Points in international warfare. Can I assume this is for domestic use? I was in DC a while back. My son lives in Northern VA and I went to see him. Guys on the streets wearing body armor carrying m16s and M4s. My son says they are from DHS and they are the new Federal Police who guard federal buildings. Do you think these guys are overdressed?
Mexico's constitution allows gun ownership. There is one gun store in the whole country in Mexico City in the Military Barracks. There is a limited selection, mostly 22s.
Add Chicken Hawk to that.

You should see the resumes I get from these "educated" folks. Degrees in French Literature, dance, and art history qualifiy you for nothing. One guy had a BFA and MFA and 156K in loans. He'll never be able to pay them back at 30K a year in earnings. That less than I paid my technicians 15 years ago. Some of these people need to be taught how to do research and logic. I'd love to have gone beyond my two years of French language but I also needed to work and took electronics.

You don't think Harvard, Yale and Davidson aren't rapacious with their 60K+ tuition fees?
I can't go Commando any more?
Remember the Oklahoma woman who spent 22 minutes on the phone with a 911 dispatcher who couldn't find a cop to go to her rescue while two known drug addicts were outside her door? They thought she might have some drugs left over from her terminal lung cancer husband who has died a week before on Christmas Day. Fortunately he had a shotgun and blew him away after he broke in armed with a 12 inch hunting knife.
I believe that. I remember a recent shootout where police fired over 100 shots and never hit the assailant. Don't these guys spend any time on the range? I would bet that I can outshoot most of them.

It's selfishness only if you think it is. Government forcing people to support others through taxation is selfishness. Choosing to do so willingly through agents of your own choosing is not. Probably the worst acts of selfishness are committed by Liberals and Democrats who feel empathy and sympathy for the the poor but expect others to do the giving through force. One need only look at the tax returns of Joe Biden, the Clintons, (they logged contributions of Bill's Boxers!!!) and the charitable works of Christian Conservatives. They consistently contribute 2-3 times what Liberal "churches" give. Compare PCUSA and PCA church tithes for instance. Or ELCA and Wisconsin Synod. Those with no attitude of gratitude give the least.
