30% of the wealthy is direct inherited wealth, this does not even reflect the wealth generated by inherited wealth by someone in an upper middle class who transitions to upper class at some point in their life time. Don't get me wrong, I am not begrudging those who inherited their money or the right to pass down what you have earned. I merely point out that not all wealth is by the sweat of the brow or due diligence as the the poster presented the case to be.
